Offset Question v.Enkei Raijin
Howdy. I have a 2012 135i M Sport. Wanting to throw some Raijins on it. I've seen plenty of posts about these wheels, but not always with photos or offsets.
Does anyone have any experience with these in terms of size and offset? I was looking at the 8" +40 for the front and 8.5" +38 in the rear. 35 or 40 sidewall tire. Stock ride height for now, but don't plan on dumping it or anything. I'd bring it down an inch or so with coils when I find a set I like. Sorry if this topic is beat to death. I really did try to search. Don't flame the new guy too much, please. |

slight necropost, but whatever.
they'll fit if you don't mind a slightly stretched tire. 8" ET40 is a bit close to the front fender, some camber might be necessary if you can help it. you might be able to pull off an ET38 rear if you put 225 or 235 tires or something like that. my front wheels are 18x8 ET40 on 235/40ZR18s. i'm on H&R supersport springs and they definitely rub when cornering (but it's a DD and quite frankly looking track-ready isn't one of my priorities. street cred > track cred) if you want meaty tires, you'll need to go with ET45+ in the rears. |
