IMHO it would be a really major exercise. There is a lot of hardware to change including the screen obviously, the harddrive in the glovebox, the DVD drive in the dash and the controller on the centre console.
There is possibly also new computer hardware in addition to the HDD. Then there is the software. I hate to think what BMW would charge for all this aftermarket. Still, if they would offer it I know quite a few people who would be keen to swap.
