Adaptive Headlights: warning lamp on dash

So this morning I go to get in my car and I notice some moisture inside my passenger-side headlight. Once I turn the car on and start driving, I recieved the Adaptive headlight warning symbol.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Check them at night and see if they're still moving up and down like they're supposed to when you first turn the car on. It could be failing the self test. I'd say it's going to the dealer either way, but at least then you'd know what's going on.

The headlights do go up and down when i turn the car on. So if it isn't failing a self-test, did the adaptive system fail?

my car is at the dealership right now for the adaptive headlights. Never had an issue until the day after they fixed my front turn signals.

Its always a gamble messing with components of cars loaded with touchy tech. I'm sure the dealer will fix everything. I hope they dont charge you anything.

I have installed GP Thunder H8 bulbs for my angel eyes, but those have been on for several months.
Should I put my stock bulbs back in before I take it to the dealer? Has anyone else had this problem?
i took my car in for adaptive headlight problem, and i was using gp thunder at one point though it isnt the bulb that causes the problem i think its a manufacturer defect becasue it was the same headlight as mine that had the problem , though i suggest for less headache, remove the gp thunders put all the stock bulbs back in and then take it in, that way they will not blame the problem on you swaping a bulb.

I would put stock back on and take it in, I'm 100% sure it didn't fail because of the bulbs, but if you bring it with them on you are just giving them a chance to blame it on that because for them that would be the easiest thing to do

Thanks for your opinions, guys. I appreciate it. I'm going to put the stock bulbs back in today, and I should have an appointment to bring it in for next weekend. Thanks again for your help!

maybe the condensation built inside the headlight caused corrosion to the stepper motors/control unit. the dealer will run a diagnostic scan and test out the adaptive headlight system.

warranty time!!
