NASA TT Racing
Hey All,
Anyone on here have experience running NASA TT specifically TT4(I think this is the correct class? I am thinking of 2019 plans and running my 135i in TT just to have some additional fun during a track day weekend. Currently in group 3, but should be able to move to group 4 no problem. Keep in mind I am not trying to go nuts and plan to upgrade the oil cooler and possibly have a set of Hoosier A7s at most. I still need to drive to car on a regular basis. Current Setup: Suspension: - Ohlins R&T with stiffer swift springs - Vorschlag Camber Plates Brakes: - Stock Rotors - Carbotech XP10/8 pads Wheel/Tire: - Apex EC7s - Hankook RS4s 235F & 265R Drivetrain/Engine - BMW PPK - Corsa Axle Back Exhaust Questions: - Is the 135i N55 competitive or semi-competitive with out significant modifications? - Recommended mods? - Tips tricks or general advice? |

With the low-end torque of our cars you would need a pretty low power tune and street tires to land in TT4 (slicks will probably bump you to TT3).

I run a 128, but have been competitive in 5. It is the beauty of the NASA system. weight to horsepower classing keeps a very level playing field. With that suspension, brake setup, you should be in good shape.
The only suggestion I would make would be to go to a square set up on wheels and tires. Or don't. Just make sure to get out there. It is a blast. |
