Euro Delivery pricing question

So I have a deal lined up with a dealership for $100 over invoice. Here is how it breaks down:

Base Coupe
Alpine White
Black Leatherette
6 Speed Manual
M Sport Package
Glacier Aluminum Trim

$35,520

This is using standard invoice, not ED (according to the dealership). While I think that price is decent.......my wife and I would like to make a trip to Europe for vacation this summer. Why not kill two birds with one stone as they say? So I asked the dealership what my discounted ED price would be. I assumed that he would quote me $100 over ED invoice, which would be roughly another $2500 or so off. At that discount I would be looking at roughly $32k, give or take a few hundred. This is according to the wholesale/msrp list I pulled from this forum, not the price the dealership quoted me.

So I sent this list to the dealership in an email with my question. They come back offering me NO discount on an ED car. None at all! He quotes me standard ED MSRP pricing and says that the difference is very small - $35,520 vs $35,465.

Is anyone seeing discounts on ED cars? Anything close to wholesale pricing? I have a history with this dealership and they are offering me a $100 over invoice as a favor for being a loyal customer. I just thought that they could help me out even more going ED. In fact, this is what I thought I could get one for (using the PDF found here):

Base Coupe - $30,460
M Sport - $1000
Destination - $825

Total - $32,285 + $100 = $32,385

Am I being unreasonable? I figured if they offered $100 over invoice why not $100 over ED invoice? What do you think? Thanks

Most of the difference between the normal invoice price and the ED invoice price is additional profit that the dealer can make if you give them a great CSI rating. Even at $100 over invoice the dealer can make a significant profit. With ED the dealer doesn't get the CSI profit on the car, so they can't sell an ED for $100 over invoice. It is not unusual to get an ED for $500-$1500 over ED invoice.

One of the best sources of information is the Euro Delivery Forum http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25

I'd be fine with $500 over ED invoice if that also included all of the doc fees and what not. I was anxious to get a deal done but now that it seems the dealer doesn't want to discount the ED price I probably won't do anything but continue to save up money for something else. Oh well.

Can anyone recommend a dealership willing to "deal" on the ED pricing? I'm ready to sign on the dotted line for $100-$500 over ED invoice.....

Hey which dealer you deal with got the $35k ? I am in Florida too.

As far as ED, the sponser on the forums normally charge $1200 over invoice ED prices.

Oh, so it is possible to order a car from Europe, and it is indeed cheaper?

I've been thinking about doing this as well.

There is no MACO or training fee on an ED car so you save a few hundred on that.

Thanks. I just emailed Ed from their internet sales team. Hopefully I can make some progress. I'd like to order while the financing offers are good.
