Awaiting transport

Listed as "en route" this morning, but my VIN still does not track. Hopefully it will show up in a day or so, or perhaps they are hurrying to get all these 1ers over to the states, that they don't have time to put numbers in the computer.

Same here! "En route" but nothing on the VIN tracking.

Everybody who thinks they're on a boat - please call your CA tomorrow and ask which one. Mine hasn't answered my email from last week so I'm going to call him.

Stopped by the dealer today. My car is on the boat and will be off loaded in South Carolina on the 6th. They expect the car be delivered 10 days later.

Cool, I suspect mine will land in SC with yours. As I will be traveling the week of the 16th, I am hoping that it will be just about ready to be picked up when I get back.

Did you get a boat name? I am still waiting for mine to show up on the tracking system using the VIN.

There are plenty of reference on these forums about the BMW Owners Circle website being several days behind the 1-800 number. So imagine my confusion that the website says I'm "en route" while the phone system says I am still awaiting transport!

Oh well, take heart east coasters - the Elektra sails on Tuesday!

I'm now at the port waiting on a vessel. Need to start seriously trying to sell my s2000 now. How long does the trip across the Atlantic usually take? I'm guessing a couple of weeks? This is torturous!

I think they are worst than they use to be a few years ago when I ordered, my car would never show up (VIN) on a ship until after it was delivered, I took a couple of VIN numbers from my dealership that have been sitting on the lot a couple of months and they dont show up, so I took a couple of their 2008 left over cars and only a couple of them show up, this makes me wonder how accurate tracking your car on the ship by VIN really is, could be W&W is not tracking all by VIN, could be using lading number which includes several VINs without them showing up on their website. Mine is waiting on a boat, I wrote W&W on their website but have not received a response.

Anyone else able to see their VIN number as cargo ID on the tracking website for W&W?

Nah, I don't see mine there either.

I got a screenshot from the BMW dealers system which shows the status of my order, including which ship I'm on. I've tried VIN, Bill of lading #, Xref #.... None of them show up on WW's Track and Trace.

Once your car is on a ship, you can get the name and voyage number from your CA or a customer service rep at the BMWNA 800 number. Then use www.digital-seas.com or some other AIS ship tracking website to follow her over the waves.

I hope she gets onto a ship right away for NJ.

My car is waiting at the port too, its been there all week. I'm crossing my fingers it gets on the Don Pasquale tomorrow! The waiting is killing me!

I am also awaiting transport (since the 24th). Hope to get on the DP as well this weekend. I talked to my SA today, and she could not tell me which boat I would get on. Luckly there is another one departing a few days later as well.

Yeah I think there is one leaving the 31st. If I'm not on the DP I better be on the one on the 31st
