new owner. White 2008 118D

Hi guys

Posted this in the hatch section, but really wanted to show my new pride and joy off. Nothing much needs to be done from here, but grills, new coils and perhaps some BMW performance parts next year - who knows?

Anways, will list mods later, but for now, pics will have to do.

All comments are welcome!

Came from a 95 Fiat Punto with 200K+ on the odo, so I am pretty much through the roof about owning this!

Thought to give the mods an update!

19" Barracuda Voltech Staggered
Technix coilovers
3 rear windows tinted
Short antenna
CF Foil on the roof

Equipment on the car:
Alpine White
Lemon White leather interior
Sportsseats
Xenon
Business radio (Crap)
start/stop
Rain sensor
Black sky interior (correct phrase?)
Cruise control
Dual cupholders
Light package
BMW roof spoiler

There is probably more, but can't think of more right now.

I think the future will bring some of the following:

Carbon or matt black kidneys
Performance shifter knob + gaitor
Performance e-brake handle + gaitor
Performance or Eibach pro-street-s coilovers, since I need to raise the car. Way too low now!

I do want a M exterior on, but that is a maybe. If, then it will be next year at the earliest, since a car like this is around the 50K$ in Denmark, so need my economy to recover a bit before dumping more money in it!

Nice...interior.....

I love the E81 in Alpine White like mine....
Your wheels ... well not really my stile but for sure they give a different lock to your car...
The carbon style .... definitely don't like in this car...love in the E92 ...

The M package rear bumper is a must in the white ... go for it ... in the front go for the performance ...

Congratulations .. the photos are very good..

Thanks man! Saw your car previously and it's really nice! I have bought a set of M6 wheels for winter use, so perhaps the Barracudas will be changed before next season? I have a soft spot for VMR or Breyton GTSR, so these are definitely possible - but for now, these will 'have to do'
The foil were on the roof when I bought the car and gives a nice contrast to the car, but I agree with you, carbon roof is for the e92. But for now it stays though.....
I have a buddy here in DK that have just switched to performance front on his 120d, so I'll just might follow in his footsteps later on.

They are 19" both of them, but can't remember the offset. I'll go out and look on the car in a little while and get the tire sizes right!

Edit.
Fronts are 215/35/19
rears are 225/35/19

Sorry for the vague answer on the rims, but I'm pretty sure they are staggered, but can't remember the sizes. I think they are 8.5 and 9.5, but need to measure this before I'm certain!

I strongly disagree, the rear is perfect as is. Performance front bumper or the M Sport front bumper would be a big improvement.

I really like that interior. Dont ever slack on maintaining that. You'll regret it big time.

Performance or M bumper is on the shopping list. If everything plays out well, it will go on with headlight washers next summer, so my xenon upgrade will be legal (required here by law).

For now I am very happy with the rear end too

Haha, don't worry, that was my first purchase together with some bug/tar remover. Poor Boys leather treatment. Makes the interior smell brand new after is has been wiped off!!

No sweat man.
The exhaust would have been my first upgrade if it wasn't a Diesel. Since it is I am directing the money in another direction for now. I would like a new back box with titanium tip at a later time, just because the tip goes well with white, but I am not looking to enhance the diesel sound at all, so for now it stays like this

-And thanks, it's greatly appreciated!

I'll try to get the information on the board. Had a shop doing it for me and cost around 3000DKR (Danish kroner) a month back. It equals 525$ in todays exchange rates.

I'll see if I can source the vendor name of the foil!

I am pretty sure it is Foliatec foil that has been used for the roof!

http://www.foliatec.co.uk/

http://www.foliatecshop.co.uk/shop/c...ilm-c-131.html

I believe this is the correct film since the shop who did it for me is retailer for Foliatec, but as I didn't install it my self, I am a little unsure about this....

Do you have a link for a thread with your car in it? I would like to see your car - sorry for my lazy no-search a$$, but It's really late here now.

I'll keep milltek in mind since they are available in the UK, but I would be surprised if some of the German companies didn't make an exhaust for the 118d, despite it being one of the smaller engines. Remus should have a cat back exhaust too, I should think
