Launching an Auto

Below is a video showing the power of the ZF auto tranny on the dragstrip. This was a 1.80 60' launch, not my best effort, but gives you an indication of the capabilities of these auto trannies even with a mediocre launch.

I launched the car in 1st gear while brake boosting to 2500-2600 rpms. It should also be noted that I did not execute a burn out before the launch. Listen to the track announcer describe the launch, its actually quite funny.

I believe it was a G35 Sedan.

Edit: Hmm now that I study it a bit more it may well have been the CLS 55 AMG but he was running low 12s so I can't rcall if he had really bad run.

I am pretty sure its a G, blah.

My neighbor had a E55 AMG... That was running low 12s... Those 4 doors are crazy... cus they are big cars...
