Wait till you get into daycare ... I kept bugging my wife to let me get a porsche and she claimed we couldn't afford it. Then we had a baby. When our son hit daycare I was like wtf, we *easily* had the money for a porsche (daycare is around 1k a month).

Used to be Wine, Women , and Song

Now it's beer, the old lady, and CARTOONS.

Kids will change your life in so many ways, you'll see what you are really made of, and how little sleep you can get by on. But PRICELESS, regardless of what "possessions" you may have to sacrifice.

P.S. Goats milk is for kids! If mom can't provide the service, try the goats milk. Much closer to human milk than most formulas.

Yep...the only ones that can comment on kids vs. material objects are the ones that have both...not one person here with an E90 AND kids would ever have the car over the child...it's just that the "childless" don't understand as they have not experienced....ooohh how deep

Kids really are priceless! and untill you have your know you wont understand. I know people awlays say stuff like that, but it is true. After him I stopped caring about money and material stuff right away. I still have nice stuff like a house, 04 rx330 navi, e90, dirtbike, and ect. but I would rather spend my money doing stuff with him rather then drive an M5 or thar Porsche TT I have always wanted. I have always wanted a 911 since I have been a little boy and now all I care about is my little boy. After he is done with college maybe I can get that 911.

Or get your son the 911. I think it is fair to say that evolution has done a good job wiring our brains to give us positive feedback for reproduction . Looking back in the rearview mirror at your kid(s) happy and safe in their BMW kidseats is definitely a great feeling. But other things in life are fun too... Sorry for the

Nope, the way I look at it, he'll be out in school in another 5 years max. And now that the jig us up she won't have an excuse! College fund is already started as is the braces fund ... she's played her hand. Except if we have another one and then all bets are off.

Now I know why I always saw old farts driving slow in nice new 911's when I was younger. Hated it too. Now I'll be one of them.

just pointing out that you all could have been young farts in 911's if you'd chosen not to have kids

not that most of you had a choice

Wife said something similar, that she didn't want to be THAT old when she got her nice car. so WE bought her one. Female Mid-life crisis??? No crisis here, just enjoying the fruits of my labors, and giving my son the best I can along the way. He likes riding in back of the motorcycle better than in bar of the 325.

JVFan,

Nothing special, just a Canon S400

Ward & Eldalo3,

Cayenne S, NO AIR - it was hard to find one with air when they first came out. Dealer had to get my car from Texas. I do regret not getting it (even though it cost $3k).

It does have NAV, Aluminum Package, Window Shades, CD Changer, Comfort Memory Seats, Xenon, PDC, 19" Wheels and a Porsche Baby Seat
