Well, when I came here (legally) in 1990, in order to get in the country, you had to prove that your skills were unmatched and would not take away the work of an American. YOU ALSO HAD TO PROVE THAT YOU WOULD NEVER END UP ON THE GOVERMENT TIT.
I know we need immigration... I am just for legal immigration as I had to go through...
What we have now is chaos and called invasion. I want our borders and our way of life protected. Unorganized and chaotic immigration will turn areas in ghettos with unassimilated people to our uses and customs...
I like our life the way it is. If you like it, you are welcome. Learn English, embrace our way of life, work hard and enjoy the American dream. If you are not ready to do those things, then GTFO... End of rant.

Pretty easy to look it up. Can't you read or do your own research? There are any number of sourced from the GAO to the New York times. You are welcome to live in bliss and look at the NY Times.

Each illegal that easily walks across the boarder costs 10K per year..each and every year. Pretty simple to to the math. If it cuts the flow down by only 50% it saves 5 billion each and every year..year 2 eqals 15 billion year 3 equals 30 billion..get the picture?
In aggregate or is that local? In aggregate illegals are a net contributor. That's well known.

The DOD money just ok'd by the court is in addition to what was given in the last budget bill. Homeland security says that equates to 400 miles of new wall construction. Which mean Trump fulfilled his campaign promise which can only help his reelection bid and the thought of the NPC's having Trump for another 4 four years is a true

Well, the facts are that when you consider their contribution to the economy as a whole they are a net contributor because they pay taxes for but are not eligible for a lot of Federal benefits.

On the local or state/local level it may be different.

Precisely.

Also, the SCOTUS sort of punted on this one, too, didn't they? The ruling was the people bringing the case had no standing, not that the President was within his authority to do it. There's a HUGE difference there.

Usually - when they do something like this, it generally means they agree with the lower court ruling, but not enough to come right out and say it, so they just punt it back down on a technicality.

I mean, there is certainly some precedent that would indicate that a private organization cannot sue the government in this sort of scenario, but it's still just kicking the can down the road.

Yea..I'll also wait. Of course some contribute to the economy. The overall balance is a hefty negative.
A good number seems to be between $65,000 and $135,000 per illegal. Cost to deport is between $6,00 and $11,000.

Please show me the data from an non-partisan source.
CATO has a good opinion piece which points out the flaws of a more recent study which said illegals were a net drain on the economy as a whole.

The topic by itself is highly partisan so you're essentially asking for the impossible. You'll see what you want to see.

Let me be clear however that I said in aggregate (i.e. economy as a whole).

Go to any urban area with a large illegal population and you will notice the enormous cost that is pass to the local government from additional waste collection, to additional staffing, classes, and entire new facility to deal with the over population, to illegal housing which can cause devaluement of property, increase fire risk, increase car insurance due to drivers being uninsured, increase hospital cost due to once again ER visit with people we can't track and bill and so on. That not even going into how they drive down wages for low skill citizens and legal immigrants.

So tell me once again how any reasonable person can say with a straight face illegals are a net benefit?
