Problems with 135

I'm buying a 135 hopefully this spring and would like to know, if any, common problems I should expect. I drive an audi a4 2.0t and common problems are dv being torn (stock or chipped a4), pcv valve not lasting and new common problems are cam lobes not lasting either. I really want to get out of my ride before any of these problems start. My car so far has been perfect knock on wood. Are there similar or other problems the 135 have?

trouble free so far - the only bad thing is you can't drive it 24/7 - sleep is required on a daily basis.

have fun!!

Well the following problems are sporadic and definitely not occurring with ALL 135i's...but nevertheless they are present:

1. High Pressure Fuel Pump(HPFP) (do a search...this is probably the biggest issue).
2. 3rd brake light coming loose.
3. One occurrence of a bad turbo (this might have been operator error)
4. One alleged occurrence of a flooded engine due to Intercooler submerssion in standing water during a rainstorm (probably a deeper puddle than the OP let on..)

Other than that nothing to major..at least so far. Alternatively read through Edmunds InsideLine Long-Term test drive of the car and they have had no problems through ~20k miles... http://blogs.edmunds.com/roadtests/V...s/2008BMW135i/
Great resource for everyday insight! Make sure you read the comments as well, some of the best stuff is there, from naysayers to fanboys!

First I have heard of this. Don't think it is a common problem as the OP suggested though.

this pretty much sums it up,

and then some people have been beginning to experience troubles with window seals and hwy road/air noise and some with koral leather are seeing it start to wear pretty significantly on the bolsters considering the cars are only a year old at most
