Winter set-up on stock 261 rims
Hey guys,
looking for opinions or personal experience on the winter set-ups for 135i with stock m sports suspensions. I am thinking to put winter tires on the stock staggered 261 rims. has anyone run bigger diameter than OEM size? the tire selections are very limited to the OEM size (215/40/18 and 245/35/18), I am thinking to put 225/45/18 and 245/40/18. anyone has done it? thoughts? experience? The other option is to run 225/40/18 square on those rims. Thanks. |

That front tire would be ridiculously taller than the stock diameter.
You can do 225/40 and 255/35 or 225/40 all around also works.

Thanks man, I decided to go with 225/40 front and 235/40 rear. adds a bit more traction but not too crazy different in diameter compare to 245/40 in the rear.
