I like how there are at least three of us in the comments of the listing.
Still, that price...

I was there watching, not a bad price I guess
What's with the 22RPD discussion about a tune for N51 SULEV? Any truth to that, or was the guy just talking sh@t?

Look closely. It was a sport, not an M-sport. M-sport might go a few more $$$. Very nice car, though.

I love my 128

Yes I love my 128. Back in September 1969 [yeah I'm that old] I was looking for a new car. Went into Ford and Chev dealerships; first question: what do you have in a 4 speed-answer nothing. Possibly prior to this, I road tested a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner but rejected it. Auto with 383. I wanted something smaller, both car and engine. Into another Chrysler dealership and they had tons of Swinger 340's w/4 speeds and I bought one. 42 years later (I bought my 128 in 2011) I'm obviously still the same.

Awesome story! I had a friend at that time who went through the same process. He too bought a '69 Dart Singer 340, 4-speed, 3.90 posi rear and a radio, in copper/bronze. At the time, I owned a '64 442, yeah, the original. I could not touch him at amateur night at the local drags!

It has the *right* options though. This is pretty much the exact spec that I would want one of these in. Sport/M-Sport, Premium Pkg, stickshift. Though no heated seats is a bummer.

One interesting thing - it doesn't have the tweeters in the A-pillar - I thought it was just 2010s that lacked those? My '11 e88 has them.

Prices are well up for good 1-series though. I paid $16K for my convertible in 2020 (with 46K and even fewer options) and that was ALL the money for one back then. Of course who knows what the 'BaT tax' on it would have been - I bought it from a BMW dealer in KS.

Part of me would like to put my 52k, 6spd, RWD, original owner e91 on BaT just to see how nutty the price would get. But I ain't selling her!

Paid $18k for my 13’ e88 135 6spd w 85k miles on BAT earlier this year. Sometimes I think I overpaid sometimes I think I underpaid. Either way it doesn’t matter as it’s all smiles while driving

As I mentioned on BaT, I called 22rpd and as long as you search for, say, a 2010 128i, you can find the tune. It's listed as an N52 tune, but applies to the N51 as well. Stage 1 is $400 for the software only.

There are a couple of other (positive) mentions of them in the forums as well, e.g., https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...&postcount=191.

Would love to hear from somebody who has the Stage 1 tune and how they feel about it.
