Terry can you give me details of both cars ie reg.no and colours, ace cafe
marshalls will only allow entry to a list of pre booked registration numbers that I'll give to them. Would EVO like to do a feature in their magazine of the day perhaps?

Generally Evo will do a line or 2 in their long termer section if they attend, I organised a HSV event at Walkinshaw Performance a few years, Evo rocked up in their VXR8 long termer and wrote a few lines about the event in the monthly section.....

Mine is AW
EVO's is VO

Henry seemed up for it and it should fit in timely with their end of season report as they'll have had theirs for a year in July/ August

All 25 places for the Ford RS have been registered already with 3 on the reserve list. So with both RSs and 1Ms 43 cars are booked.

WE NEED MORE 1Ms please.

I think we have attracted pretty much most of the UK owners on this forum, bar one because he has better things to do with his time, something called a honeymoon!

Well to help poor Jez and his meet out I went onto autotrader and emailed all but 5 of the 200 being sold and invited the meet

Also dropped a few pm's to owners on here, but that list has one or two that cancelled and purchased M3's etc, or sold up some time ago and a number haven't logged on since mid last year but still dropped em a pm anyways

Been checking auto trader, they've recognised 1M as an individual model. Only seems to be a few on there now, pricing seems to be stable too!

Back on topic though, what other forums do UK ppl use?

Indeed. Not so many any longer even with the reorganisation.

Try these:

http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk

And Pistonheads of course.

I have let all my 1M customers know about the meet also as not all of them are forum users.

You may want to email the BMW magazines - I am sure they will put something in their news sections about the meet...maybe one of them would even cover it. I can speak to BMW Car magazine if you want. I have a good relationship with them.
