I have one in my 1 and it feels pretty good for daily driving. It is a little stiffer but not bad. I did the CDV delete at the same time and I notice that the clutch engages very quickly, but I am not sure if it was because of the clutch or the valve delete.

I had an ACT on a previous car. The HD plate takes a lot more pedal effort, but gives you a lot of torque holding while keeping a low chatter engagement organic clutch disc. You get used to the pedal effort, but the organic disc still won't take a lot of slipping abuse.

I have a brand new spec stage 3+ for sale if you are considering other brands. I have the oem dual mass flywheel compatible one. Low chatter, engages like stock but is slightly stiffer. Pro tuning freaks sells them and Vishnu and Vargas use them on turbo upgraded cars. PM me if your interested.
