Car should be here Dec. 9-11. I heard it arrives to the port on the 8th, and it takes 1-3 days processing.
6 Days minimum; 8 days max til I get my ONE. If this goes according to plan, I should be able to go! Can I bring a friend who will go in his 3 series?

Heard back from my dealer today...it's not good news.
 The boat arrived a day late (today), and so I have to wait 1-3 days from today (possibly longer). His estimate was Friday/Saturday. This is a problem because I work all day Friday so I won't be able to pick up the car. Saturday would be OK because I don't work on Saturday, but that's the day of the meet! In either case, I don't think I can make it anymore...

I don't know about that...I went to Zaino's website and that s#it looks clean if you do it right!
If it arrives Friday, I'll go to the dealership right after work and pick it up then. If it arrives Saturday, I'll pick it up when it arrives (if it's early AM, I'll meet you guys at Neptune's Net). I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow or Friday though. God, do I hate 2 days off every week (sure, I get to choose which 2 days, but if you choose 2 days in anticipation of something and then it's a day or two late...you're @$$ed out until next week). This week, I chose Wednesday, and Saturday (in anticipation for this meet!). For another meet, would any 1Addicts be looking to coast down to Crystal Cove next Saturday (12/20)? There's a lot of exotic cars that show up: Porsche (saw that twin supercharged one; not a big Porsche follower but it sounded like a jet), Lamborghini, Ferrari (have seen 3 Enzo's there), NSX-R (JDM), R31-34 Skyline's (JDM), I'm sure GT-R's are now showing up. If we get enough interest, it'd be cool to cruise down as a group and check it out.

OK, just got the call. Just arrived to the dealership!
Look like I'll be seeing you guys on Saturday... ...however, I will be waiting for my friend with his 3series to get off work around noon. We'll cruise up and meet you guys at Neptune's Net. just got off the phone w/ neptunes. they are very cool, they said there is absolutely no problem with us bringing 50+ cars, the only thing they cannot do is guarantee us parking which is completely understandable.
i've attached a picture below of an aerial view of neptunes, as you can see there's a decent amount of parking in the parking lot, however we're getting there in the afternoon so this will probably be full. across the street, along pch & on the street yerba buena there is plenty of parking! can't wait to see everybody tomorrow!  |

Rain or shine, we're lookin' forward to this. It'll be fun to see a bunch of other 1ers!!!! My beauty is all waxed and pretty from last weekend's Motor 4 Toys show. I'll be proud to show 'Cracka' off.
I am thinking about doing a leisurely canyon drive afterwards. Due to the possibility of rain, and the 2 accidents that happened during a MINI club gtg last weekend, I am a little fearful of hitting the canyons hard. Not going to post which roads, cuz I am worried about cops reading these forums and getting info. Also another thing the rain brings, is little itty-bitty rocks down onto the pavement. If you're in a group doing a run, give a bunch of room between you and the car in front of you. Otherwise you'll be the proud owner of some new rock chips. Sorry to soap box, just my 2 cents, trying to help out...
