JB4 Question: Gauge Sweep After Map Change
Quick question:
Under normal operation with the JB4, I change maps, hit the left down button, and the system immediately exits. Saturday, I had a water pump failing, and when I switched between maps, the JB would sweep the gauges after selection and the down button. Is that normal? Does the JB4 sweep the gauges to indicate I've thrown a code or some other issue is present? C/N: Why did my gauges sweep after map selection when my pump was failing vs. not doing it normally? |

You can turn gauge sweep on and off. Might have somehow turned it on. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure gauge sweep has nothing to do with throwing codes. I think it was just coincidental that it happened at the same time. Mine does it when I switch from map 0 to any other map and when the car is turned on in any map but 0.

IF you have the gauge sweep feature on, then it will do a gauge sweep every time you switch from Map 0
