I just got my berk race axle back installed and it sounds sick. Until I heard rattling. No, not from the drone. I saw that the pipe is laying on the sway bar brace. Got this from a member here and the condition is pretty much brand new.

Been searching around and can't really find a solid solution on what to do.

In the picture, if you follow the pipe to the front where the flange is; you can see the silver brace where it's rubbing against.

Any ideas? Put some exhaust wrap around it?

You might just need new exhaust rubber mounting bushings.

Make sure all three are properly mounted and fully inserted as well. Berk Exhausts are very well made and I haven't heard of any fitment issues over the years.

Hmm.. The hanger rubber hanger bushings are fine. They're actually pretty much new. Car only has 4000 miles on it... Bought it last month lol

I could try playing around with it to see if it adjusts around a bit.

I take it this is a vert? Coupes don't have that brace, so it's not a problem.. I think your only options would be to bend the brace, put a dent in the pipe, wrap the pipe, or ... I dunno, that's pretty much it

Yeah a vert. I thought I did my fair share of research, unfortunately missed this little part about the brace.

Like a giant hose clamp? Type of design that you see on an intake or intercooler couplers?

Lol I see you’ve encountered that problem, eh?

Space it down a bit with washers, and wrap the bar with exhaust tape. Resonance gone. Under load the exhaust flexes more than you’d think, so spacing it down half an inch likely isn’t going to fix it. It’s not “hard” to fix at all though, just takes a bit of thought.

It’s that ‘vert life my friend, get used to it.

Don't be afraid to put a small dent in it. Really won't hurt anything. Mark it with a marker, take it off the car, give it a good smack with a standard hammer.
