Engine seizes at speed--does DCT disengage the clutch?
So if you've ever spun out or abused the handbrake you will know that the DCT is programmed to disengage the clutch under some circumstances.
What I'm wondering is if the engine seizes at speed, will the DCT automatically disengage the clutch right away? |

I would imagine so. There's probably a minimum engine speed, below which it will disengage the clutch
