Extended lug bolt wheel locks
Well, I have bit the bullet and bought spacers for the rear wheels (162's). I do travel to some questionable areas on occasion, and I have the OEM wheel locks currently on.
I bought 12mm spacers, so where can I purchase 2 lug bolts that I will be able to use with the spacers? What lug bolts should I be looking for??? Last edited by bavarian19; 06-04-2006 at 07:46 PM.. |

AJ,
Your RE spacers: 12mm, Head Size: 17mm, Seat: Cone, Shaft Length 37.9mm Suggested wheel locks: Mc Gard Part #27112 www.mcgard.com There are some black caps solutions for the silver lug bolts brought up recently. One of them involves the use of stock Saab caps. There is also another thread on how 1 key opens up all OEM wheel locks.

Thanks Donny... I know the OEM's arent perfect... Its just that some jackass with a lug wrench cant just walk up to my E90 and take the 162's... He has to be on the prowl for BMW's... If I have that bad luck, then theres probably not much more I can do... I ordered the Saab caps already... If you want to install your rear spacers, Ill have 10 left over... Ill look into the mcguards... |
