Tires / Shops / Install / Repairs
Sorry if this thread exists but only came up with old threads.
Got a few things I'm doing soon: 1) Tires - Currently running dunlop sp sport runflats. Fronts getting bald, so was thinking I'd replace with non-RFT Conti DWS 06 225/40/18 and 245/35/18. This is on stock 261Ms. Anyone have thoughts on the tires (all season) and sizing? I don't want to go too big up front and have issues. I could just keep going summer/winter tires but don't really want to have to swap tires on the car (it's my daily driver). 2) Install - I'll probably order from Tire Rack, so I'll need to send them to a shop - any recommendations? Ideally said shop can install and do alignment too. And... 3) Repairs - Looking for a good non-dealership repair shop. Time to get some front wheel bearings replaced and don't have an adequate garage in my current setup to do it myself, so want a reputable (and affordable) shop to do it. Edit: In NORTH Jersey Last edited by SolidWater; 08-27-2019 at 08:36 AM.. |

I don't know if it's too far from you, but there's a very good BMW shop in Somerville. Ziggy's Bimmer Center. He's very knowledgeable and does very good work. Also you're allowed to bring your own parts or tires.
