Thanks. I figured that was the case, because in the past I would hear back with in an hour or so. THanks again for the great service. We will be in touch.

Both ER and Berk Technology Time Attack 135i's are on GIAC flashes. Both of the guys above hold numerous track records for N54 cars.

When we raced Time Attack back in 2008 and 2009 with our 335i we ran exclusively GIAC as well.

Bumping this for a question, does this change the turbo lag? I notice with this I get a "build up" feeling of the turbo (like my older turbo cars did) instead of the instant thrust I used to get from my stock 1m.

The turbo will spool a little quicker. You should also drive with the M button on and perhaps add an ER CP to further increase response time.

Throttle response is fine, but the turbo build up is more gradual instead of an instant "on" like my stock 1m used to do. Was just curious if the tune did anything.

Anyone else have any info here? I also ran some highway pulls and boost seems to be limited to 6-7PSI in 1st and 2nd gear, 3rd gear goes up to 15psi, which seems more normal. Just wondering what could have caused this as mods were installed by a PO and not me.

Are you sure you have a GIAC tune installed on the car? Boost limiting by gear is a pretty common setting using a JB4, not saying you have a JB4, just that what you describe is a common and easily achievable modification by the JB4.

If you have GIAC flash, your local GIAC dealer can verify the tuned has been installed.
