Acura TSX
What do you think of TSX. Personally I like it, I am an Acura fan, once had Integra GSR :rocks:
TSX looks good and sporty , lot of accessories in under 30K car , but lacks low end torque . Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Well, It doesn't have torque steer, because it makes no torque. It's a good car with a very nice interior, and handles decent.
It's just lacking the fun to drive factor of a 3 series. 167 Ft Lb. of torque in a 3300 lb. Car just doesn't cut for me. |

The TSX is extremely underpowered for the price, and it's only a little cheaper than a TL. The only thing the TSX has going for it is its looks and gadgets. Otherwise, the TL is a better choice.

TSX is a waste of money, for a few grand more you can have a TL, which is a much better car all around. I wonder how Acura sells any TSK's.

I like the interior of the TSX, plus it comes fully loaded which is good if you're on a budget and sunroof/cd changer/leather etc.... are important to you. It's also a bit lower profile then a BMW if you know what I mean. What I couldn't stand about the TSX is the tin can sound the doors make when you close them.

One of the nice things about the TSX is the no bullshit pricing. Besides manual or automatic, the only option is the nav system. None of this BMW nickel and dime you for things like leather or power seats in a $30k car crap...

My wife has a '05 TSX and it's a nice car for what you get. But IMO, it doesn't even compare to the e90. The TL, while it's considered a competitor, doesn't match the e90. I have yet to drive a Japanese car that feels as solid and dynamic as a german car.

If you are a driving enthusiast, it is a waste of money because you will not be satisfied with it in any way. I had an Integra GS-R and I absolutely loved it and would take it back over the TSX any day.
TSX Price-good Appearance-above average Interior quality-ok for price, definitely not up to BMW standards (seats aren't even full leather and feel cheaper than the BMW leatherette) Ergonomics- one of the reasons i'm selling, seats don't hold me, bolster gets in the way of shifting Acceleration-good, but not thrilling, NO TORQUE! Manual tranny- clunky shifter, very mechanical feeling and sounding Handling-fair, it feels unsafe around corners at medium speeds, doesn't stick like the GS-R Turning radius- bad bad bad! worse than an escalade or a navigator, statistically! Overall-good, especially for the money, but boring for someone who likes to drive Also keep in mind that the V6 Accord is cheaper and much faster than the TSX with all the same luxuries, so it's a good alternative. If there's any other aspect you would like my opinion on, let me know.

Nikki,
I noticed on the TLs that there is a big difference in the paint color between the bumpers and fenders. Was that prevalent in the TSXs also? Have you noticed this?

I believe my paint matches up fine, and I'm pretty observant. edit: and to add, the exterior paint quality (at least with Carbon Gray) is incredible. I love the color of my car, it's always shiny (even when I don't wash it for months) and I think it looks even better than the Sparkling Graphite.
