Let me know how you like the dodo blue wax.
I have used their soft waxes in the past and the durability lasts a week or two only.

Thanks! ordering the vinyl next week along with some other body bits. I fell in love with Daytona Violet and I think this is as close as I'm gonna get with vinyl

I'm sick and tired of my cold side bullshit.

Fixed it 3 times today at the track. Didn't get a single clean run, didn't even bother to try a boost launch.

I think my funniest slip was a 12.279 @ 103mph, 2.061 60' (95 mph at the 1/8th). Cold side coupler blew at about the 800" mark and I coasted across.

I was happy I got to run a truck I'd been eyeing up though:

Yeah, did mine last weekend. Now after swapping the stock suspension for the BMW performance suspension (I barely notice a difference TBH, other than height) I have some nice camber issues to address before I destroy my tires.
Does anyone recommend doing their own alignments, the one shot deal at the shop or the lifetime deal for $170 ? Anyone any experience with Firestone lifetime deal on alignment ?

I just did a full paint correction on mine this past weekend. Went very well with Megiuar's M100 (less dust that 105) paired with Orange pads and M205 with white (and a Porter Cable 7434XP). I now use CarPro Reload for my sealant as it's super easy to apply and quite durable. No reason to use paste waxes anymore or even natural waxes. Sealants are where it's at. I will be ceramic coating it later this spring.

I had a Firestone lifetime deal on my 3 series. They seemed to to a decent job. It's just an alignment. Really nothing special. As long as they have nice equipment (Hunter laser) and the tech isn't a drunk, then it'll be ok. The dealer certainly isn't worth $180 though I did shell that out for the 1er's first alignment in my possession. The car was already there for a warranty repair (new pads and rotors for free wooooooo) anyway though.
