@ResinThirteen
My EU Spec E82s don't have sunroofs or idrive. Neither the 120i (sold) or the 135i.

I received an order for new belt & pulleys that I have to install with the VTT crank seal guard, for reassurance. Also going to order an AC refill can with a gauge so it blows cold for Summer. It's probably only got the original freon from 2011. I also need to do an oil change & put in the Fumoto valve that's been collecting dust for at least 1 year.

And, a lot like my car in the car wash, I like my whiskey without water.

Wild ride! Thanks for taking us along. Glad I don't need to worry about sunroof issues. E88 FTW!

In that Glencairn - really ought to be Whisky!

You’re not wrong!! One might say I regressed, since I went from being strictly a single malt scotch guy to a mostly-bourbon guy.

And it’s funny, because a ton of American whiskey drinkers have fallen in love with the Glencairn!

Don’t get it twisted, though, I still LOVE anything from Islay (Laphroaig, Ardbeg, etc) or an old Dalmore!!

It will either be SuperPro or Powerflex. Maybe whiteline has these bushing too but I forget. If anyone has any recommendations I'm all ears. Is anyone familiar with Powerflex black series over their regular stuff? I'll probably go with
Turner's sphericals for the lower control arm portion.

I took a tour through Speyside a couple years back, and love many of the Islay's - working on an Ardbeg 12-yr this month. Laphroaig still hits a little hard, unless I'm in front of a campfire. Was getting into the Lagavulin 16 a few years ago, but can hardly find it since 2020.

But I find that I need to be in the right mood and setting to really enjoy a fine peated Single-Malt. Whereas, I can ALWAYS enjoy a decent bourbon!

Yea I’m leaning towards SuperPro based on price and quality. For the Lower, are referencing the “outer” bushing? I was finding that there’s little benefit to upgrading this as it is already spherical stock but that’s just what I’ve read on here. I’ll definitely be replacing the inner bushing on the camber arm.

Yes to my surprise about the lower bushing, I torched it so it has to be replaced. But once the rubber had melted away I saw how it was constructed. So now I'm reconsidering putting a factory one back in. And the lower one is the control arm to knuckle attachment side of things. The turner kit does have two for each left and right side. Surprisingly once I burned out the guts of the trailing arm bushing the cup came out with no more effort than tapping it out with a screwdriver.

Yes. My original ones didn’t, but if you look at the back side there’s a computer board that controls the LED’s

These strips are the whole reason i purchased them

Ah, bummer. Yea I'll be replacing the trailing arm, inner camber arm, and the steering arm bushing with the same brand stuff. The other two arms are new 1m arms so I'm covered there.

Are you pre lci or lci? If pre, there is an additional wire that is needed if I recall. If you’re lci but halogen head lights, the wire should already be there so there might be an issue

Got the trailing arm bushings out. Easily too thanks to some iron pipe from HD and a ball joint rental tool. Sphericals from Bimmerworld on the way.

Yeah I’m LCI. 2013. I’m going to take it apart this weekend and see what’s up. Is there install instructions somewhere?
