The Psshhhhhft (blow off) noise is slightly louder with the dual cone.

Some would say that its totally worth it... There is a member on e90post that switched to the dual that will be posting a review soon. He said he feels better throttle response, louder noise, and is very happy with the change.

I just installed one of these on my car yesterday... the noise is GREAT! it took about 50 miles or so of hard driving for the car to fully adapt to the new amount of air, but now that it has it feels very strong... and sounds amazing!

I installed mine on Saturday. The sound of the turbo's spooling is awesome. Now I just need a tune!

Very straight forward install, I love how it looks when I pop the Hood. The engine looks much cleaner/less cramped without the OEM intake. Immediately noticed better throttle response and you can hear the air being absorbed by the engine at correct rpm's. Sounds good when reved. The price wasn't to shabby and the shipping was blazing fast.

I will never by a non turbo car again. This engine will go down in history as one of the best.

I've been running this intake for over a week now, I must say the sound is just incredible... it sounds like a true turbo car now...
