Like my dad used to say: I can afford a Lamborghini, if they stretch the payments out 30 years. When buying a car, I try not to get caught up in the "oh it's only $x.xx per month" fallacy. Always look at the bottom line price you're going to end up paying after four or five (six?) years of interest. The sport package on the 128i seems like a necessity to me, but a lot less so with the 135i. If you're comfortable with the base seats, and don't mind the chrome trim, save your money. If you MUST have the ///M Steering wheel, I'm sure there's plenty of parts vendors who'll be willing to help you out on that, probably for less than $1,100.00 + five years of interest. |

I haven't had my non-sport 135 up that high yet so I can't verify for sure. The seats are probably the only I wish I had from the package. The steering wheel, knob, and trim only really change aesthetics. The aluminum trim I have contrasts nicely with the aluminum trim on the std steering wheel and shifter. The std window trim also looks great on SGM.

what was your motivation for not getting the sport package....that is a MUST HAVE. you can go without premium.....but not sport.....look at the seats and interior upgrades.....its worth it.

The Sport Package is a MUST IMO. Its a BMW not a Lexus ES 350 slush bucket. |
