Also, you get the raised speed limiter to 155 mph! Something I use often enough!!!

Yeah, but for how many months??!? After after paying the extra interest for all that time, you could've bought a boat to go along with your pizza!

Like my dad used to say: I can afford a Lamborghini, if they stretch the payments out 30 years.

When buying a car, I try not to get caught up in the "oh it's only $x.xx per month" fallacy. Always look at the bottom line price you're going to end up paying after four or five (six?) years of interest.

The sport package on the 128i seems like a necessity to me, but a lot less so with the 135i. If you're comfortable with the base seats, and don't mind the chrome trim, save your money. If you MUST have the ///M Steering wheel, I'm sure there's plenty of parts vendors who'll be willing to help you out on that, probably for less than $1,100.00 + five years of interest.

Ok, lets forget the metaphor, i also have put in numbers but they are what they are. They are not a fallacy. The decision point is with the OP. Let me put it in a better perspective. Yes, you are correct in pointing out that you only pay what your expectation is, what you think will be worth. If you think or not that the package is worth or not the price, so be it. We all have differences in preferences and i dig it.

I'm almost certain that is a typo as well. On the 135i the 155 mph speed limiter is standard regardless of sport package. On the 128i it raises it from 130 to 155.

I haven't had my non-sport 135 up that high yet so I can't verify for sure. The seats are probably the only I wish I had from the package. The steering wheel, knob, and trim only really change aesthetics. The aluminum trim I have contrasts nicely with the aluminum trim on the std steering wheel and shifter. The std window trim also looks great on SGM.

There isn't a single M part on the suspension; it's just a regular sport suspension.

The Sport Package is a MUST IMO.

Its a BMW not a Lexus ES 350 slush bucket.

It will probably be a rare car down the road.
