Sold: 2009 BMW 128i - Le Mans Blue, Auto, M Sport, Premium, Leather - 22k Miles
I hope you all don't mind me registering just to list my car for sale. I have been a 1 owner and forum lurker for over a year now, but never got around to registering or posting. Sadly, now it is time for me to part ways with my beloved 1. Here is some basic information about the car... Make: BMW Model: 128i Year: 2009 Color: Le Mans Blue Metallic Transmission: STEPTRONIC Automatic Mileage: 22,700 Title: Clean, One Owner VIN (For CarFax): WBAUP93589VF49261 Sold / $25,300 We (my wife and I) have decided to sell because of our growing family. With a small baby, the time has come to give up our treasured 2-door German sports coupe in favor of a family car. It pains both of us - especially me - to let this car go, but realistically, we have no other choice. The good news is that we are staying loyal to the BMW family. We just picked up a 3 to replace the 1... About the 1... We originally bought our 128i from Rusnak BMW in March 2010 (see the final picture in the set below). It was a showroom piece at the Rusnak dealership for a few weeks, but was never test-driven by anyone. We picked it up with 5 miles on the clock. We have owned this car for 17 months, during which time we have done about 22,700 miles of almost entirely freeway driving. Living in Palmdale and driving down to the San Fernando Valley a lot, these were all easy miles. Now, as for the features... this particular 128 is LOADED. We got almost every feature available with the exception of heated seats, nav, and the backup sensors. Below is a list of all the added features. The window sticker is also shown at the bottom of the page... Le Mans Blue Metallic Paint Black Boston Leather M Sport Package -- 17" Premium "M" Wheels / Performance Tires -- Gray Poplar Wood Trim -- Sport Seats -- Sport Steering Wheel + Paddle Shifters -- Sport Suspension -- Aerodynamic "M" Body Kit -- Shadowline Exterior Trim -- Anthracite Headliner Premium Package -- Universal Garage Door Opener -- Digital Compass Mirror -- Auto-Dimming Side Mirrors -- Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror -- Power Front Seats -- Seat Lumbar Support -- BMW Assist -- Bluetooth STEPTRONIC Automatic Transmission Moon Roof Rain Sensor Automatic Headlights Xenon Headlights Adaptive Light Control Automatic Climate Control Cruise Control iPod and USB Functionality Smartphone Integration This represents the ideal situation for a buyer looking to get into a nearly new BMW 1-series without the high cost. This car looks new in every way, and has been extremely well taken care of. The original MSRP of the vehicle was $40,300 (see photos below). We also obviously paid taxes and dealer fees on top of the sale price. I cannot offer any kind of financing, so this is a straight cash deal. If you have the funds available, this is a heck of a deal. I am not looking to profit. I would be happy to receive just enough to pay off what I owe, which is a bit less than the KBB value. This 128i comes with the standard 4 years / 50,000 miles of free maintenance and the BMW warranty for the same time period. The good news is, I also put down $1500 at the dealership for the Tire Protection Program, which insures all the tires on the vehicle against damage for 5 years. I believe the tire protection itself is not transferable, but two of the vehicle's tires have already been replaced within the last two months under the program (I drove through a freeway accident site and picked up glass shards in 2 tires at the same time). The two original tires have plenty of tread remaining, and the two new tires are still close to 100% tread-life. All of the tires on the car are runflats. This car really is in immaculate condition and was treated like part of the family. Once again, it's a really hard decision to get rid of the car. It will be sorely missed. This is by far the best car I have owned, and this is my 7th vehicle to date. Nothing else compares to the 1-series. The car feels solid and sturdy, it feels glued to the road at all times, and it has a lot of pep. Another thing to note... This car in this configuration is unique! I have seen other 1's in my area, but none in this color, and very few with the M Sport package. If you are interested in the vehicle after reading the full description and viewing all of the pictures, then please go ahead and contact me by phone. I work in a secure area which prohibits cell phone use, so please leave a voicemail message during work hours. Thanks for looking! Last edited by RodC22; 09-06-2011 at 11:55 PM.. Reason: Sold |

The 1er didn't sell at auction. There was one person meeting the reserve price, but no one else to push up the bidding towards the end.
Any takers? Asking price is $25,300. |

Good luck. If I wasn't living in Belgium, if the car was a manual, and I was looking to buy a car... I could certainly consider it. I miss my former 128i.
The color is great, if they had Le Mans blue and/or the M-sport package in 2008, I probably would have gotten them.
