As soon as I saw it I immediately thought of the BMW Art Cars. If you don’t know they’re BMW’s which are cars who’s bodies are painted by famous artists. I think it’s a cool tradition. The one in this thread seems an homage to those cars, I wouldn’t do it to mine but no problem with it as far as I’m concerned.

Personally I agree with you. Not personally I don't give AF what they do with their car it has no bearing or affect on me. In fact they should put an //M on the back for good measure.

I have friends who graduated "The U" and one in his 60s still wears his "U" clothing and talks about "the U".

Knowing my friends, I am not surprised by that car. It is an accurate representation of a U fan paying homage to what was around when the Warhol, Calder and Lichtenstein art cars were designed.

I've seen very similar patterns/markings on all kinds of trucks (think dump trucks, haulers etc.) in India, vietnam, peru, africa, indonesia, and the like....
