sticker inpspection

Hi everybody,

My car has MA tags and a sticker for October (10) but car will not be back in MA (presently in TN for school) either in December or May. So either way I will be late inspecting or very late inspecting.

I am planning to inspect the first day car is back.
How much of an issue would that be? any ideas?

I know if I get stopped etc I can get a ticket etc.. hoping this is not the case.
Apart from that?

If you get stopped it will depend upon the cop. Common sense says that if you show/say that you have been away and have only been back for a few days they should be understanding. Some may not care and may give you a ticket anyway. Don't come back the first few days of any month as that is when they look for overdue inspection stickers.

You would only get a ticket in MA for the MA inspection. As for getting a new one, the service center doesn't care. Pull up and grab one as soon as you are back. I wouldn't worry. I have seen cars with 2 year old ones around here!
