This is weird. My CA is being kinda coy about it. He said he got some in, and he's holding one for me. I was going to see if there were any spares to help out the less fortunate. Hope they are not feeBay bound.

Why do they want to display these if there aren't any more allocations?

Fellas I'm out looking for a frame and the two stores I've been to do not have frames for the measurements below. Before I go home and measure, can someone confirm the actual dimensions for me?! I found 60cmx90cm but according to the post below this wouldn't work. The person who posted this: can you confirm these are the dimensions for the poster itself and not the frame? Obviously if it's the former then the frame needs to be slightly bigger to be able to encompass it.

Thanks!!

Just measured the poster...actual poster size is 25.5" x 36.

If you look at post #35, there's a good 3" space between the bottom and the bold words.

So a 24x36 frame should fit well.

My garage is officially 1M-ready, since the she's scheduled to arrive at the dealer tomorrow and I will be picking up immediately

By the way, the iPhone pictures don't do the poster/framing any justice...looks amazing in person!

"A mod doesn't add more go" - depends on your definition of what a mod is. A member above^^^ mentioned a black grill would look good. Sure, it adds no more go, but certainly has appeal to many owners, if not, BMW wouldn't be selling it. In fact, BMW would't be offering a Performance line as barely anything adds "go" (CF mirrors/spoilers/steering wheels, heck, even floormats, etc.) And BTW, a suspension drop + wider wheebase (e.g. a Moton or any other good aftermarket setup) will add more go (lower center of gravity, wider footprint/wheelbase, improved handling over stock). But yeah, it won't add HP if that's purely what you are looking for, but it will help you put the existing power down better (and thus be faster, so here's your 'go').

You just need to live and let live, if you want to leave your (potential) 1///M unmodded, go right ahead, no one is gonna fault you for it, it's your car. So apply the same principle to others.

PS: Just saw your SRT-4 pic gallery with those oversized chrome rims. Enlightlighten me, is that a performance or show car and where's the "more go"?
I wonder if he even has an allocation. I hear that //1Ms are hard to get through military sales based on talking to my SA at Pentagon. Its your car you do what you want with it. My M3 looks pretty darn good as a stock performance car. I don't see me doing any mods for a good while to it. Enjoy your ride

27x40 - I liked the extra slack on both sides, and a little less of it top and bottom. I think it looks great, but others may prefer a tighter frame.

You could always pick up a mat and cut it yourself with an xacto to fill the space. It'll look good either way.

Very true. At first I was looking for something with less padding around the edges, then I kinda liked this frame that I picked up at Michaels with a black background paper, and when I finally mounted it I loved the look. The pictures truly do it no justice...it's always difficult to photograph reflective surfaces, let alone I used my iPhone for the quick shots. I will try using a camera later on and take some good shots.
