Besides the 135i, I commute to work in a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. Also have a 2011 Subaru Forester in the Garage, though that's probably getting replaced with a new Honda Pilot later this year. Also hoping to pick up a old Jeep Wrangler this year for an off road toy.

Just picked up a black 2012 135i (42k mi) for my daily! Also have a 1992 Mercedes Benz 400E w124 (183k) that I restored and used as a daily, that can now retire as my relaxed q-ship. Wife's DD is a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek w/ some suspension tuning bits. Loving the 1er so far.. absolutely fantastic vehicle. After restoring/rebuilding much of a w124, e82 maintenance doesn't put me off a smidge
List: 2012 BMW 135i M Sport DCT (my DD) 1992 Mercedes Benz 400E (W124 chassis, M119 V8) 2016 Subaru Crosstrek (wife's DD)

Apparently not. Selling the E30 was 1/4 of the justification for buying the 1'er, but wife has turned down a consignment offer in favor of a longer sales process that I don't have bandwidth for, possibly til next year. And she wants to take it to the E30 picnic this Summer - mainly to sell it, but I think mostly for the cameraderie.
http://www.e30picnic.com/ She has a Chevy Volt that I use when Grandkids are involved, and I've also got a lightweight bicycle I added an ultralight e-bike kit to (german of course haha) http://www.velogical-engineering.com...-retrofittable ...but of course the lil' blue has become ride number one...

We start serious driving lessons in the Acura this week. Took her to parking lots twice over winter, but it's time she gets out on the road and gets the hang of a manual. |

Anyone know of a good site to track down current lease specials? I love the 1er too much to continue sitting in 2.5 hours of traffic a day in it. Really should have leased a fiat 500e when they were 99/mth.

It's mah everyday toy
Drive it Tinker with it Work on it Do serious surgery when required even Heck, I have as much fun working on it as I do driving it.... My relationship with the 1er is sort of like Han and the Falcon- Drive/Break/Fix/Drive.... And, when needed, remind The Wife that if she came out to the garage occasionally I could tell her that I love her as much as my 1er...

2013 135i - probably my fun car, 28k mi on it, picked it up in November.
1999 Jeep Cherokee Limited - winter beater/winter work car, 213k mi on it, thinking about making it my all year work car. Been driving it to work since I picked up the 135 in Nov and I like the idea of keeping the miles down on the 135. |

2013 135i used to be my DD and only car.
We picked up a 2012 VW Tiguan TSI 6spd manual for my wife and liked it so much I picked up another 2015 Tiguan R-Line (APR tuned) for myself to use as a DD while keeping the miles of the 135 now. |
