Redline MTL for 1M Transmission

Has anyone been using Redline MTL in the 1M's 6-speed manual transmission? If so, what are your thoughts. Thanks ya'll.

Thanks; I saw that thread. It goes more into the direction of the RL DCT fluid, and also the RL D6. MightyMouseTech mentioned MTL, but no detail.

Looking for more detailed accounts on RL MTL, specifically.

I think it depends more on your climate.

Thin <---> Thick

D6 ... MTL ... MT90

If you live in like Florida, MTL or MT90 is fine. Otherwise D6.

I've been running MTL for almost 30,000 kms now, it's a great oil. Shift quality and smoothness is excellent and it provides better wear protection than D4 or D6

Love the MTL in my car, find it a little thick if driven near freezing temps, but not too bad. Will only feel "thick" for 5 or 10 mins of driving when it does.

I found it started out pretty good, but took about 2-3000 km before it really felt good.
