Post Maintenance Book

Thought I would share my fun little project to help keep myself organized and keep up on maintenance with the car. Wanted to share and take pictures of it before I start destroying it in the garage.

Overall it was fun to make. Colors were inspired by the M4 DTM Champion Edition car and the 1M vector on the front and back are from the run of 1M T-Shirts I made.

Enjoy.

Photoshop/InDesign

Most time consuming part was making sure I got all the part numbers correct and sourcing the correct indicator and warning lamps.

I went with the standard maintenance plan that BMW provides. Changed a few things based on my car (PPK) and things I've read around the forums on when to do certain maintenance. I got the indicators and warning lamps straight from the manual.

And all the part numbers I got off realoem / ecs.

Beautiful work! My version of that is an old school binder with sheet protectors and a bunch of reciepts, diys, and manuals shoved in.

Besides mileage... the (!) icon can come on for lots of things. It just means that your attention(achtung!) is needed! It can come on for low fuel, service needed, engine check light, etc.

Great work on the book! You did an excellent job.
