For sale is a NEW (UNUSED) Set of genuine BMW LCI Blackline tail lights for a HALOGEN (not adaptive/xenon) E82. These have NEVER been run on the car. The LEFT tail light was briefly installed in my vehicle ('09 135i) but when I realized the running lights did not work due to wiring incompatibility, I immediately uninstalled and placed back in the box. The right tail light has never been removed from it's packaging.

Because these were never used, they are in LIKE NEW condition. There are no signs of wear, scratches or damage and they are functionally brand new.

Why am I selling it?

Mistakenly purchased from Schmiedmann in June. Paid to have it shipped from their location in Germany here to the US. When I installed one tail light, I immediately realized I had made a mistake and purchased the wrong part number. Unfortunately, the shipping back to their location is really insane, so I've opted to sell the set myself.


How much is it?

Price is $210 SHIPPED anywhere in the US.

These are $270 plus shipping ($80) from Shmiedmann, which is roughly ~$200 less than anywhere else on the internet that I could find.
Price is negotiable, slightly.

What's the difference between this and the Xenon LCI's (Part # 63-21-2-225-282) ??

These tail lights lack the internal wiring (or programming?) required to function with Xenon / Adaptive fitted cars. The brake light and reverse light both function, but when fitted to a Xenon car they do not have functional running lights.

Do you have the adaptive / xenon package? If so, these won't work. My understanding is if you have a halogen car (no ADHL/Xenon) these tail lights will work.

i have adative/xenon in the fronts. didnt know that affected the tail lights

Much appreciated! I feel like if I'm trying to make a bit of money selling parts I should put a bit of work in to make it an easy purchase, especially for confusing compatibility with parts like these.

Pm'ed! And I know, it's the absolute best getting delivery from Amazon because I know we'll have several days entertainment from the boxes alone.... We cut a hole in the top and dangle plush toys for target practice.
