Loose HKS BOV -

I recently installed my VRSF charge pipe and HKS BOV and realized it seems to keep loosining up (doesn't pop out though).
I installed it correctly as far as the black ring inside, and making sure the flat side of the O-Ring is down and each time I tighten it, it seems to be solid and just barely turns with force and then after a couple days it's pretty easy overall to turn it 360 degrees.

Is this normal? I don't want to lose boost or any other issue, just curious if there's a better way to seal it. I honestly think just an 0-Ring holding something in lock tight is the dumbest idea compared to a thread option or something.

I would post a video but naturally in Iowa we're getting freezing rain today after being 80 degrees 3 days ago.
