437M replica wheels

Hey Guys,

I have been in search of wheels for a while now. With our 135 offset being so high, it's hard to find a good set of lightweight wheels that are appealing. I always have liked the look of the M437's. The previous owner of my 135 had a set of replica 18" but the offsets were way to low. I had all sorts of rubbing over bumps. They weighed around 19 pds each corner. And I soon as I replaced them with 261's that are 26 pds each corner my car felt heavy and unresponsive.

I would have to order them from Asia, a company named Jova wheels. I think they make all sorts of wheels for some of the OEM manufacturers, and other big wheel companies. Thinking of 18x8.5 45 offset and 18x9.5 50 offset. Anyone have any other suggestions before I place this order?

They look good. 18x8 45 & 18x9 50 should work just fine our cars. You can check offsets using this calculator:

https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Whee...et-Calculator#

For comparison the stock wheels are 18x7.5 49 & 18x8.5 52.

Apex wheels are 18x8.5 45 (front) & 18x9.5 58 (rear).

Have no idea - the wheels were put on from the previous owner. A new set of rep wheels would be $1260 - but ordered with correct offsets. 45/50

I now have 261 wheels. No more rubbing on bumps, but each corner had 6 pounds of added weight. So my car feels a little more slugish.

so this begins my never ending quest for lighter wheels...

18x9.5et58 rear.

I like ET 55, or 53. Ultimately every 1er is different with the rear fender space especially on the rear right. Makes things tough when you're trying to min/max.

I really recommend getting your suspension and chassis 100% sorted before spending money on custom wheels since you'll need measurements to get it perfect.

That said... 9.5et50 is a common 1er fitment and should work fine.

Here is an example of my M4 437M Reps
Fitment is:
Front 18x8.5 et39
Rear 18x9.5 et44

These were custom machined on the hub faces to increase the offsets by 4mm.

IMO Great looking wheels with my setup.

I was thinking of going with black trim (genuine anodized parts) but the reps match my brush aluminum trim so it's a tough call to swap plus I don't really want to remove the adhesive bond from the factory in the corner windows. It's a pain to do the trim swap properly.
