^ I don't think we will get any of that info in the full unveil. It's going to be more fast cut scenes filled with dramatic music, euro specs and price similar to what scott has already posted.

Any of the indepth development stories will come a month or 2 later from auto mags.

Personally in my opinion Scott wouldn't put the information up a few hours before the full unveiling. He has done it as a curve ball. Id say most if not all information is wrong.

If them power figures are correct, this will be the first M car with a standard BMW engine as the figures are same compared to the 35is.

Also it seems it will be the first M car to have an engine code starting with N and not S.

I guess they didnt spend too much in keeping in light. Otherwise, it would steal significant sales from the M3.


If the M1 became the ideal track day car (which it easily could have), then it would make a name for itself moreso than the M3.


Seems like the engineering for the Cayman. Good, but designed to be less than the better (pricier) model.

Why put a post here giving us false information? He could have done this months ago!

Actually, he has, most of the hints have slowly been changing from what originally was hinted anyway. I'm starting to think that anything Scott says can't really be taken as gospel. Untill official specs are released I'm not buying anything.

Although, 0-100 in 4.9 seconds isn't too bad. But to go that faster than a 135i with only 30 more HP? Maybe it is the overboost torque that is getting it there...
