PURE Stage 2 waste gate?

So we have been having some over boast issues with our 135 (N54). After three trips to the dyno for over boost issues it looks like the waste gates are not responding fast enough for the ECU to correct and keep from
over boosting.

The shop is now dropping the downpipes and inspect the turbos for
possible waste gate issues.

Has anyone seen this? I am not looking forward to having to remove the turbo and send it back for replacement.

Why can't the tuner reduce boost?
Are they staying closed?

The tuner can, but the waste gate does not react fast enough to do what the tuner is programming. It exceeds the targets set and goes into safety mode.
This car was setup right: New turbos, injectors, intake, down pipe plus four hours on the dyno.

We are waiting for a reply from PURE to see what they recommend.

It looks like the turbos will need to be replaced under warranty. I realize that custom work comes with a lot of risks, but this is going to be an expensive replacement: Getting the new turbos does not cover all the labor to re-install and re-tune. I just hope PURE can get the new ones shipped out over night so we have them early next week.

Am I wrong in feeling that it's pretty unacceptable for the turbos to be defective in this manner?

I feel it is VERY wrong. But I am waiting until we get the replacement turbos installed and I have a chance to really understand what went wrong before I get too deep into this. But yes, it looks like due to a defective turbo, we have been without the car for over a month and will be paying to have the turbos installed twice.

the possibility of aftermarket twins going wrong regardless of the brand is what stops me from upgrading my stockers.

the thought of paying for the install twice.. jesus

hope everything gets sorted out

What happened here? Did you find a solution? I'm having a similar issue with a 335i N54 and brand new Pure St 2. Too much boost pressure. The shop is about to uninstall the turbos to adjust the wastegate or await Pure's recommendation....
