LCI Blackline lights on Halogen Model - Coding help!

Hey all. I recently installed the Blackline LCI lights on my 2012 128i equipped with Halogen rears. I jumped the 2nd wire into the 3rd in the connector as previous threads have advised, and the LED's work great! However, I noticed that the Halogen bulb stays illuminated at all times as a DRL and gets brighter when I brake. Now, this isn't really a big issue, but I'm a tad bummed that it eclipses the aggressive look of the LED's.

I'm a dumb baby and I have Carly (coding app) for the next 9 months - I can't seem to find an option to disable that bulb so I only have the LED strips at night.

I am looking for an alternative solution, without pulling the bulb and painting it black! I still want people to see when I'm braking, safety is #1.

Has anyone else had luck with this?

Why did you switch the cables? It should be plug and play. I have 09 128i e88 and I had to do no coding or switch any wires. The leds are the only running lights when they are on and the brake lights only come on during braking. There is no running light from the halogens

LCI halogens are not plug and play. They don't have the 3rd wire in the harness.

Awesome, thanks! Since I jumped the wire in the connector, would I have the same result coding with Pro tool WITHOUT tapping the wire?
