I love big lips

The 1M is throwback car and one of my favorite classic wheels was the forged BBS RG-R wheels. I like how they have a big lip on them. Honestly, I don' t think any wheel fits the 1M as well as the stock silver ones, but I always wanted a set of these and makes sense to put them on my favorite car.

Thanks! These are very classic style, especially in plain silver. Hardly anyone gets them anymore, so nice to hear that. The Diamond Black is more popular as well as the newer style BBS wheels but I wanted to acknowledge the throwback character of the 1M.

Oh, those look great on your car! You killed two birds with one stone - design and weight.
I love the classic mesh-style BBS wheels very much and I think people with new BMWs don't really appreciate them anymore even though those wheels were the rage in the 80's. Almost every BMW had them, and they still look the part on new models.

Btw, what you need now are the Blacklines and a mild wheel gap removal imo.

yes, these lighter also which is why I went with these over the lovely CH-R which is actually heavier than stock. Style and substance. What are black lines? Do you mean blacking out chrome trim piece? I thought about lowering but roads are so bad in San Diego.

Thanks

Blacklines are a slightly tinted version of LCI tail lights available in Europe, made by BMW. A very popular upgrade on this site. They would look great on your VO 1M. They cost about $350 shipped. We buy they from the link below, Schmiedmann is great to deal with.

Yes. Those are nice! Thanks. I have to get over the sticker shock on these, but yes, I might get a set of those especially if BMW and they don't throw light bulb errors etc.

Funny, I actually ordered a different version of the front wheels by mistake. They fit perfectly but had a smaller lip and I wanted the bigger lip. They were intended more for E90 335. I didn't pay attention and took them straight to get mounted so on top of the cost of these, I'm stuck with two brand new RGRs that I can't return. Once I deal with that, these look very nice. Thanks for pointing them out!

No RGR figment. Offset too big. Even if they did you wouldn't get big lip due to offset. Sorry.
