Well, with $18K scanners, I would hope so!

Took about 1 hour total per model.

Good enough for 3D printing aero parts for sure.

I have to go to bed now, but I'll upload the non-solid model tomorrow. This model will be useful for making sure my solid model is accurate.
I would really like to get my hands on this model. It would help me figure out how I want to wrap my car. Looking forward to the upload.

I can't wait to see what kind of things you guys put together with this.

Am I the only one that would just love a solid 3d printed model of my car?

Hello Martin VonMunich. Is it possible to get this 1-series model? For personal use of course. Want to make a car for sim drifting.

A lot has changed in the past 4 years these days you can capture your own car just as well using photogrammetry.

If you want a 1 series model for your video game there are a bunch of 1M models out there.

What I had been working on was a set of open intake runner for the N52 motor. It would be cool to have a scan of the intake ports on the cylinder head, but that's a lot of disassembly lol.

Another thing would be of the rear section of the fenders to make mud flaps (PLEASE!). BMW ceased making mudflaps for our cars, and I would DIE for a set of properly-fitting ones
