Muffler delete

Well I took the muffler off the 128I and replaced it with a straight pipe and a nice tip. I sure thought it would be louder than that, somewhat disappointed.

for trying

If you're not happy with it and you're able to do custom work, the Berk Street exhaust or Race exhaust would look & sound nice

I am sure the resonator is trapping the sound. Truthfully, had I bought the Berk Race Pipe and this all I got sound wise, I would feel "ripped off" but for $140 bucks ($55 was the tip) it isn't so bad. The sound is louder than stock and I'm afraid if mess with the resonator, it will be to loud. Any suggestions?

Resonator delete will make it louder, drone much more, and raspier.

Put a 135i muffler on and delete the resonator. One of the best sounds you can get out of this car. A 135i muffler should not cost you more than $100-$150.
