I found the English website for BMW on Demand... looks like the M3's now rent for 40 euros per hour. Here is the cars that are available...

Rick the rates start at 33 euros per hour and top out at 100 euros for BMW on Demand at the Welt.

Rates:
i3 or M140i - 33 euros
M240i - 45 euros
M3 - 50 euros
M6 GC, M6, M5, X5M, X6M - 75 euros
i8 - 100 euros

Do they require a security deposit like Porsche? They ask for ?2000 up front.

Yes, they will put a 1,000 euro deposit on your cc. But you get that back when you return the car.

I hired an E92 M3 for the day when I was travelling in Europe way back in 2013.

I just followed the pre-programmed satnav drive which included both autobahn and secondary roads. It was well worth it!
