The truck with cars destined for Fort Worth TX left Baltimore sometime today (Fri 19Jul2013). I received this info from the SA yesterday via email. Gator may have some info about vehicles heading to states on the East Coast. I am currently planning on a pickup here in TX on Tues or Wend of next week.

2 days ago, my SA said that my car would be on the truck Saturday or Monday the latest. It's coming from Brunswick.
Supposed to arrive less than 24 hours from when it leaves on the truck. We'll see. |

Any other options different? Will be interesting to see what you think comparing them. You should try to get a shot of them next to each other as well in a passing of the guard picture. Congrats! I know it's been a long wait.

I configured both of them exactly the same.
6MT, Premium, Technology, HK, Alarm, Rear Park distance (yeah, I know, but it comes in handy when you have to park up against a wall or fit tightly in a *******. Of course, didn't need M-Sport this time since it comes with. The cars overlap by couple of weeks so I'll try and shoot them both together and we can compare them side-by-side. Must say that so far my old Space Gray looks better than my new LeMans Blue. Oh well...we'll see what it's like in person. |

I can tell you this from experience though - you can't really judge how the car looks until it's been prepped and cleaned up. I remember when my 2008 135i arrived, I went that day to see it as it came off the truck and it was so dirty and nasty, it looked really bad and I didn't know if I made the right decision in even getting the car. After they cleaned it up and detailed it, when I went back the next morning to take it home, it looked amazing. So, I'm sure you'll love it once it's made all pretty and ready to go. I think it photographed a lil dark, too and also probably has the suspension blocks still installed so sitting higher than normal. |

And with the 313s and all the contrasting black pieces, you'll be ecstatic and happy in the end...especially as you hear it as you drive off. I could hear them from a block away driving my car around for delivery. Someone was looking for my sales guy and I said, wait...I hear him bringing my car around! |

OK. As expected the car looked a lot better prepped for delivery than it did on the truck.
Here are a few quick shots I took at the dealership and a couple on the way home. Haven't really had a chance to drive much yet, but on the way home it felt tight as new. Maybe slightly quicker than the 135i and of course that more aggressive bark. Didn't really get on it much since it was just the first drive and I have to break it in. Here are some photos as promised and now it's time to check out the differences in the owners manual. Enjoy. |

Wow, looks awesome and like glass! Very unique and good looking interior as well. Definitely looks more lemansy (if that's a word) all cleaned up.
I've taken it really easy on mine since I got it but today I hit 1200 miles, so time to see what she can do. =P I think the most interesting and intoxicating thing for me after I first got it was when I had it out on the freeway, I kept hitting the gas and slowly weaving through traffic and hitting holes on the freeway, just to hear the exhaust go cause I felt bad coasting without that sweet noise coming out the back. Congrats again! |

Looks great man! Hopefully I only have to be jealous for less than 48hrs more. I will try to post some pics even though you took all the LMB thunder away from me.

Thanks! A couple of days will go by quick. It'll be interesting to see your pics. LeMans Blue seems to have a lot of variations depending on the light.
