2009 Delivery timeline?

Hi Addicts! Question about '09 135i Coupe orders (Performance Driving School Delivery Program):

Order Placed - 2nd week of July'08
Pickup confirmation date - last week of October'08;
Current online order status - "Awaiting Transport"

My sales guy is on vacation for a month (wtf?)!

Any idea why the long gap between production completion and actual delivery - 1 1/2 months????

Appreciate any/all feedback...

We received feedback this weekend that our 135 Vert is DONE!!! We have ordered and or shipped BMW's from Europe several times, I have always given at least 6 weeks from Germany to my door.

I am betting that we may see it in one month, sometimes they get to the dealer a bit more quickly -- sometimes they take a little more time... 6 weeks should be a "safe" bet, but keep checking in on the shipping status.

With regard to your SA being out for a month, talk to the general manager or the sales manager...
