Turbo death wine ????

Hello fellow 135ers Ive had my 135 for about two months got it used and just out of warranty.

A month into the purchase the first mods were dual cone intakes and Vishnu ver.3 computer. I have been driving the car with map1 (14psi) the car also already had Charles's downpipes.

I was driving my car on Friday and under WOT a few times building the boost perfectly and everything. Then out of nowhere the car lost almost all of its power and a very VERY loud wining noise started coming from the turbo side of the engine bay. The car was only building 5psi at this point. So I parked the car and just thought hey might of just been a diverter valve that popped out AGAIN or even worse a pipe busted. So I check the engine bay no signs of any of these issues I removed all the pipes from the charge pipe all the way to the hot pipe out of the turbos. All the pipes seem ok no tears.

I removed the Vishnu computer to see if this was causin a issue and nope still the same problem persist.

I was able to get under the car and reach the backside turbo and play with the waste gate actuator and it seem that it just moves very easily with 2 fingers and little force.

I checked the dme codes on the Vishnu and some of the codes that popped up were

12040
10940 charging pressure sensor, electrical
12544
11895
11804
12544 boost pressure control, de activation

This problem still persist if I place the Vishnu computer under map 3 witch is vale mode and de activates the turbos. The sound is still there.

Sounds like it could be the hose on the charge pipe that loosened maybe?

Wow - do you think the bearing went, or do you think some foreign material got in there? Any metal in the oil?

Looks like you've ingested something. What air filter are you using?

I'm looking at this on my cell, so it's hard to see. It appears the bearing went and the shaft play allowed the blades to impact the sides.
But then again it is hard to see on this phone.

This may be a lucky break (pun intended) if it's just the bearings that failed and no material came off. You may be bale to get away with simply replacing the turbos.

I had the turbos replaced on my 07 335 due to excessive whine. The techs found excessive play in the bearings, but no contact yet. This was off a stock car.

Nothin fell into the turbo. The car seemed to throw the bearing on the front turbo. Looking to purchase aftermarket turbos. Don't want to put stock ones back in.
