That would be a safe assumption. There is likely one port of entry on the east coast and one for the west. It is time consuming and expensive to go in and out of port.

Just check on OC and now my VIN is showing up. Woohoo!!! Anyone else have a V for the 11th digit? It's not even listed in the chart in the other thread.

Crazy question: Does any one know the route the West Coast ships take once they reach the Atlantic? I am just curious because taking the canal is most logical, but that is a lot of money per passage.

I think all this waiting suck. I ordered my car on 1 Mar and was told that production will start 19 May. If the car is ordered make it. I have made 2 order changes just because I have so much time.
