It will wash right off, and you'll never know it was there. Remain calm.

Get some good wax or paint sealant on that car, when you have the time (or get it done at a detailer). I just drove my car up to Denver, and it got pelted with bugs and also covered in tree sap (was forced to park under a tree). After coming home, a simple hand wash was enough to take all of it off; nothing was left on the paint, thanks to the carnuba wax doing it's job.

Back on topic: nice1, silverbullet -- I'm looking forward to you guys getting your cars soon!

Thanks for the tips guys.

Yupp....... it did come right off with some water and a towel.

But now there is a patch on the hood of the car thats clean and the rest of it is dirty.

Well.... I guess thats the price you pay for the momentary shine of a JB car. :iono:

Totally worth it!

Note to myself: buy some cleaning supplies for the car.

Ok, I thought your post was pretty funny. I've had the same thing happen before many times, but TODAY was a bit different. I went out to my car and it looked like a bird the size of a horse took a dump on my car. It was literally two piles the diameter of a softball and about 1/2" deep. It was piled up so high that a good bit of it blew off going down the road. I'm suprised the bird lived after that kind of an explosion!!!!

Anyone remember this really carzy war spoof movie from the 80s called 'Top Secret'?? It had all kinds of stupid things happening, but one scene cracked me up:

The two leading actors are sitting in a park, and in the distant background there is a huge statue of a pigeon with many flying people landing on it, crapping on it, and then flying away.

When I had the first "bird issue" with my 1er, this movie kept coming back to me.

There are a few birds I would like to do that to!

Picked up my Sedona Red 135i on 6/4 w/ 9 miles on it. I had my Valentine 1 installed on Sat. I decided the V1 is a necessity not a luxury. Definitely the the fastest car I've ever driven. I'm going to be claybar-ing and waxing it next weekend. I love the coral red interior w/ the Sedona paint. I was worried that it would be too much red but I really like it! Everyone who's seen it likes it too. The Convenient Access is great and the premium sound is awesome! I'll post pics after I wash it!

As you will find when you take delivery of your 1, the OM calls it "Convenient Access". I'm not sure why the brochures and other lit. refers to it as "Comfort Access".

Coral Red Leather Interior

I was worried about the Coral Red Leather being too much red w/ the Sedona Red Paint. Now that it's here I really like it!

Cool!!! That may be the most gutsy color combo I have seen so far. Makes me wish I had been a little more "crazy" with my choice.

Awesome, I ordered mine with Coral and Sedona about 5 weeks ago, and have had the occasional concern that it might be too much. Looks great, I can't wait for mine now.
