true but there are many other awesome features to enable at the same time. you can always buy a cable for 99 bucks and teach yourself.

i taught myself last friday in about 4-6 hours i had completely coded my car. ive done 2 friends for free and i've done 7 customer cars since saturday. already made around 300 bucks plus paid off the 99 i spent on the cable.

but get it on ebay, its much cheap and they are all the same.

Thanks for the breakdown of options and feedback.

I got the these from BMS

http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_LED_angel_eyes.html

but then learned they are for replacing the H8 bulbs if you have Xenon headlamps. I have the H8, Halogen lamps, and they are not compatible.

Looks like the ebay vendor is the same way, these are for if you have H8's to replace, not H7's....

Any options for those of us with H7's?

Apparently they don't have the same setup, or at least the same lamps.

They have amber ringers, which I would like to turn white.

It's looking like PUTCO lights might be the only option, short of upgrading the entire lighting assembly.
